An explosion of glitter, colour, tinsel and neon spray made the backstage area at the Meadham Kirchhoff show look more like the Rio Carnival than a London Fashion Week show – which was fitting on the day of Mardi Gras. It was a disco-dancing, glitter-balling, tinsel-twirling extravaganza at the Meadham Kirchoff show today. The Topshop venue was transformed into a Saturday Night Fever-style nightclub, with light-up dance floors on the catwalk and tinsel strewn across the seats.
