First Rite’s Fall ’12 Collection Has Gone To The Horses

Nothing cures the rainy day (er, week) blues better than a brand-spankin’-new collection from one of our favorite local designers. And that’s precisely what’s landed in our inbox via Mission-based designer
Nikki Garcia
and her cool-kid label First Rite.

“For fall I looked to traditional menswear and pulled from the classic styles of gauchos, matadors, and equestrians to create a collection that combines trousers, shirting, and ties in more modern and feminine silhouettes,” explains Garcia.

Spun from a mix of wool tweeds, raw silk, silk velvet, and cotton dobby shirting accented by buffalo-nickel buttons from New Mexico, the offerings include cropped and high-waisted pleated pants, sophisticated colorblocked crop tops, sweet little wear-everywhere bolero jackets, and a two-tone collared dress that we can’t wait to get our hands on.

Check it all out after the jump and let us know your hands-down faves in the comments below.
