Materials}: Collared Shirt, Stud Earrings
Start a collection of your favorite studs. You can use pearls or rhinestone studs. Forever 21 has tons of great stud earrings to choose from!
Add earring studs to desired location on the collar. If the earring is too heavy, apply a tiny amount of fabric glue to the back of the stud to prevent it from shifting.
The flip side!
Use the earring backs to secure the studs.

Here at Topshop, we're slightly obsessed with getting our nails 'did' in time for the weekend! Is it just us or are plain ol’ parts feeling a little bit blah these days? Sure, we can always add a jazzy side sweep to our ‘dos, or back to the tried-and-true zig-zag of the ’90s, but that doesn’t always, well, do it. Thankfully, in the midst of trying out all of these new bun iterations, Fahrenheit Salon‘s Emily Bassolino turned us onto a style that ups the ante when it comes to cool coif creations.

And, since adding a “pop of color” is making major waves, sartorially speaking, these days, we thought: Why not give it a whirl on our locks, too? Perfect for finicky or indecisive types — this statement-making DIY is an must-do for gals wanting to turn heads — temporarily. Read our steps below on how you can achieve this punchy part in no time flat.

1. Drape a towel around your shoulders to protect your clothes from the color product.

2. Open Kevin Murphy’s Color Bug temporary hair dye ($ 20.60, comes in orange, pink, and purple). Wipe the color on your finger and stroke it along your part.

3. When you are finished applying the color, add a bit of hair spray to lock it in. Et voilà!

JF has always had a fascination with the icon, and even portrayed him in a TNT movie years ago, snagging his first Golden Globe for it. He says, “I was always told that I look like James Dean — well, after I got braces for my buckteeth and went through puberty.” So, all things considered, it’s no shocker that James drummed up the concept for this wacky warehouse-style display with several other edgy artists (our favorite, Ed Ruscha, included).

Since the mid-century motion picture explored so many taboo topics, you can expect to see some electrifying works, including violent videos, sexual sculptures, and some pretty profound fixtures by the actor himself, too — there’s even a motorcycle floating in a pool! We highly suggest any fans of this classic screen gem, historical heartthrob, or modern day radical, hit this show for a trippy treat. And even if you’re not jonesing for either James, admission’s free!

We love Wes Anderson here at Topshop – he's the director behind films like The Royal Tenenbaums and Fantastic Mr Fox (both of which we loved, for different reasons!). He's got a very distinctive visual style and we always leave his movies feeling really inspired, which is why we are counting the days until his latest film, Moonrise Kingdom is released.

Apparently it tells the tale of a summer in 1965, when two 12-year old sweethearts fall in love, make a pact and run away from their small town in New England. Even the poster looks adorable…

Moonrise Kingdom features so many of of favourite actors – including Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, and one of our ultimate style icons, Tilda Swinton  (who looks amazing in some of the promo shots!)

The 'grown-ups' in Moonrise Kingdom embark on a mission to find the runaway lovebirds and judging by the trailer, it looks like everyone gets into scrapes along the way. Every single shot of this movie has the Wes Anderson trademark stamped all over it – from the vintage colour scheme, to quirky details and of course, gorgeous 60s fashion. Moonrise Kingdom comes out on 25th May, after it premieres at Cannes Film Festival. We can't wait!
